DescriptionEthiopia is home to the finest mountain scenery in Africa as well as the spectacular Blue Nile Falls. It's little known rock churches at Lalibela are decribed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", and its Rift Valley Lakes are a bird watchers paradise. With a history stretching back to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba this is a veritable traveller's Mecca! In January this trip coincides with the colourful Timkat Festival while in September you can enjoy the less-visited Meskal Festival.
